Squirt girls (born in 1992 or 1993) will have a chance to represent Flin Flon at the Norman Regional Summer Games, and possibly the MTS Manitoba Summer Games in Dauphin. The regional playoffs will take place at Centoba Park in Flin Flon, June 4-6. Other tournament possibilities are Winnipeg or Norwood May 28-30, Brandon June 19 & 20, Provincials in Alton on July 2-4 and the MTS Games in Dauphin August 11-14. Any girls born in 1992 or 1993 are eligible to play. No previous experience is necessary, just a desire to learn and have fun. Since Flin Flon is the host community for the Regional Finals, it would be nice to field a team to defend the home turf. I will be organizing the team myself, and if anyone is interested in playing, or helping out, please give me a call as soon as possible so we can prepare for the fast approaching season.
