Nearly 240 trick-or-treaters showed up at the Halloween Alley last Wednesday night at the Flin Flon Community Hall. The ghosts, goblins, princesses and animals had plenty to do as they made their way around the floor. Organizer Aimee Deans, with the City of Flin Flon, says the turnout was "excellent. We had 239 kids plus parents." The children had a haunted house to go through, a colouring zone, a movie zone, a touchy-feely game where they had to identify Tommy's missing body parts, an In Motion section and six games. The Bombers put their helping hand in as many of them were situated in the haunted house, while others hosted games around the floor. The Lions Club was also present, selling hot dogs and drinks. The Halloween Alley hasn't been around for the last two years, which Deans says was because of a lack of volunteers, but she says the event will be back again next year. However, plans have not been decided for next year's event.
