This year's Get Caught In Motion campaign was a big success. From June until last week, members of the community were out being active. Participants were either entering their own name, entering names of friends and family or having their names entered by the In Motion committee members for being active and leading a healthy lifestyle. The summertime program helps people in the Flin Flon, Creighton and Denare Beach areas get active with a little incentive. Residents were encouraged to go for a walk, take a hike, weed their garden, take up a game of soccer with the children, take the dog for a walk or even swim a few laps. Through the program, names were entered for three prizes. This year, 2,808 names were entered into the draw for a golf, camping and Aqua Centre package. The campaign generated more than 300 additional entries this year then last. Fran Labarre and Channa Senyk, of the In Motion committee, announced the winners Monday morning on CFAR. This year's gold package went to Al Fehr; the camping went to Vivian Lekopoy; and the Flin Flon Aqua Centre package went to Al Mills.
