With the smell of sunscreen in the air and beach balls being blown up, the Summer in the Parks program is getting ready to go for another season. Children between the ages of five and nine are welcome to join Kyla Jackson, the Summer Programs Supervisor in Flin Flon, and the rest of her crew to play in the sun at the Willowvale wading pool as well as playing games. The summer program also gives the children a chance to see some local businesses on field trips as well as hitting up the Flin Flon Aqua Centre and the LionÕs Spray Pool in Creighton. Last year, which Jackson says was a huge success, the campers toured a grocery store as well as the post office and helped out with the Green Project. Summer in the Parks runs from July 7 through to August 22 from Monday to Friday. For more information, contact Kyla Jackson at 681-7542.
