The Flin Flon Bombers held a "Bail me out!" fundraiser last Thursday at RJ's Motel, and the event was a successful one from every perspective. A total of near $3,500 was raised for the team. For $20, people could have a friend or co-worker arrested by the team. It was then up to the accused to raise enough money to post bail. For every $20 donation towards bail, a game ticket for Friday's game was given out, along with a voucher for a local restaurant. The Bombers have another promotion in the works. Friday night's game against the La Ronge Ice Wolves will be Ladies Night. There will be lots of free draws and gifts for ladies in attendance who enter their name into the bucket at the door. The gifts have been provided from local merchants and service people.
