The team played together for the first time in the tournament, which took some getting used to. Norman lost their Friday, April 9 game against Portage 13-3. Saturday's game, however, was a 7-4 win against Southwest for Norman. And later that day, the Icedogs won a big 16-0 over Springfield. Sunday's game was semifinals to get to the gold game Ð leaving the Icedogs down 9-3 against Yellowhead. Yellowhead went on to win against Portage in the Gold game finals.
