Submitted Article On Saturday, June 2, the 2012 Northern Manitoba Skateboard & BMX Championship took place at the Oscar Lathlin Collegiate Skatepark in The Pas. In total, there were over 20 competitors in three different age categories for each sport. Approximately 100 people were in attendance to cheer on the talent from across the Nor-Man Region. The results are as follows: Skateboarding 13-17 1st Cahlin Jesso, Thompson; 2nd Gary Caribou, Flin Flon; 3rd Brandon Perry, Thompson 18+ 1st Brendon Sanderson, Winnipeg; 2nd Brian Constant, The Pas; 3rd Justin Goulding, Thompson BMX 12 & under 1st Dylan Lavallee, The Pas; 2nd Ayden Fetterly, The Pas; 3rd Santana Stephen, The Pas 13-17 1st Kirklin Ferguson, The Pas; 2nd Cullen Lamb, The Pas; 3rd Josiah Harder, The Pas 18+ 1st and 2nd Ryan Bourque and Lorne Rushton, The Pas (by acclamation)
