Dart player Rory Orvis, the 2015 Flin Flon Open Men’s Singles champion, racked up another title last weekend.
Orvis, who lives in Kinosota, Manitoba, defeated Canadian national champion Dave Cameron to become the 2015 Canadian Open Champion.
Orvis has for many years taken part in the Flin Flon Open, where fellow participants view him as a natural competitor and a wonderful representative for the sport.
He also teamed up with fellow Manitoban Ron Looker to win the Canadian National doubles title.
The tournament was held in Ontario with Flin Flon area representatives Darrell Nash and Wendy Hrechka delivering solid performances for team Saskatchewan.
Another local favourite, Danny Mckenzie, also representing Saskatchewan, made it to the final of the World Cup qualifier to be held in Turkey.
Unfortunately Team Canada will not be sending representatives to the event.
