The Flin Flon Skating Club introduced a new team this year. The city's first Synchronized Skating Team _ Team Superstars _ competed in Morden for an invitational meet. The Crocus Synchronized Skating Invitational competition was held March 16 and saw Team Superstars place fourth. The team is made up of Ariel Tanchak; Naomi Dickens; Dilyn Johnson; Torri Bjarnson; Keira Hagley; Darah Brown; Brooke Schartz; Alyssa Andres; Cadence McIntosh; Kara Burroughs; Cailyn O'Hare; Keilen Russell; Chene Slippers; and Savannah Thurston. The team is coached by Carolyn Parcher-Cannon. Awards The Flin Flon Skating Club handed out a few awards recently as Lalain Ilsa and Jade Goodman were named the CanSkate Champions while Matthew Vasilakis was the CanSkater of the Year. CanSkate coaches are Parcher-Cannon and Leah Snyder.
