Last weekend, Flin Flon boys on the under-13 Norman Soccer Team competed at the Manitoba Soccer Association regional indoor festival last weekend.
The festival was held at the University of Manitoba with a focus on preparing players for the 2016 Power Smart Manitoba Summer Games, a multi-sport competition that will be held in Steinbach this August.
The Norman team, coached by Rob Abbott and Allen Church, finished with one win and two losses but played very well all weekend considering they have not played soccer since December.
The boys will compete in one more regional festival before the summer games.
