Busy night

Adam Beukeboom had a busy night in the Bomber net, as La Ronge outshot Flin Flon 52-39. The loss was the only one for Beukeboom in the month of February.

The Bombers came out slow in the first period, but stormed back in the second and third to out shoot the Ice Wolves 45-35, including 24-13 in the final frame.

Tyson Empey scored goals just 10 seconds apart in the second period, and the Bombers led 2-1 after two periods of play.

In the third period, it was all Flin Flon as they would add five more goals, led by Brett Kitt with a pair of goals.

Brandon Switzer, Austin Evans and Alex Smith had the other Flin Flon goals. Dean Allison, Brandon Masson and Nick Shumlanksi all chipped in with two assists each.

The Bombers wrapped up the regular season last night against the Nipawin Hawks in a battle for fifth place.
