Seven competitive members of the Flin Flon Aqua Jets and four pre-competitive members attended the Thompson Northern Torpedoes Winter Invitation Swim Meet in January.
This was the second and last meet of the season for the pre-competitive swimmers, Lily Cooper, Jordan Gorrell, Cory Lane and Braeden Tetlock.
Each swimmer competed in six events at the meet and saw significant time improvement from their first meet in The Pas in November.
Each pre-competitive swimmer received a participatory medal for their hard work at the meet.
The seven competitive swimmers each competed in six events over the day-long meet.
Connor Brown received a first, second, sixth, seventh and an eighth place finish with a personal best time in one event.
Lauren Fox received four first places, one third place, and one fourth-place finish with a personal best time in three events.
Dax Lawrence received two personal best times and four first place and one second place finish.
Taylor Lawrence received six first-place finishes and two personal-best times.
Ryan Nawrocki received two second and four third-place finishes and three personal-best times.
Cadence McIntosh received two first, two second and one third-place finish.
Todd Nawrocki received three first and three second-place finishes with three personal-best times.
