The Flin Flon Aqua Jets put their speed and agility to the test as five competitive and six pre-competitive members swam at The Pas Roadrunners Swim Clubs Fall Invitational Swim meet last month.
It was the first meet for the pre-competitive swimmers since joining the Aqua Jets in September.
Those six swimmers – Elextra Colquhoun, Dilyn Johnson, Lily Cooper, Jordan Gorrell, Braeden Tetlock and Cory Lane – competed in six events during the Saturday portion of the swim meet.
Each swimmer received a participation medal for their hard work.
On the competitive side, the five Aqua Jets competed in six events over the course of the two-day swim meet.
Swimming for top marks for the Aqua Jets were Connor Brown, Lauren Fox, Dax Lawrence, Taylor Lawrence, and Ryan Nawrocki.
Connor finished with one first, two fifth, and two sixth place rankings at the end of the weekend as well as a personal best time in one event.
Fox received two first place rankings along with a second place, a fourth place, and two fifth place finishes with a personal best time.
Dax picked up a personal best time and three first place finishes and one second place finish.
Taylor earned four first place finishes and two second place finished.
Nawrocki picked up three second place rankings, two third place rankings, and one fourth place rankings to go along with a personal best time.
