Kelly Carrington Staff Writer The Northland Sport & Auto Show covered the grounds of the Creighton Sportex last weekend as boats, cars, trucks and quads were available. The doors opened Thursday for people to browse the selection of items for sale. The first-time event was successful and offered something for everyone as it featured Northland Ford Sales Ltd, Frontline Sport and Leisure, Frank Dunn Trailer Sales and Nickel City Motors. Families made their way through the show from Thursday until Saturday night. The warm weather helped bring out residents to check out the new spring toys like the side-by-side and pontoon boats. The Sport & Auto Show covered the hockey rink portion of the Creighton Sportex as the ice was removed last month. New trucks caught the eyes of many as others were concentrating on the new Mustang out for show. As the first year event, Northland Ford was pleased with the success of the event and looks forward to another show next year.
