The 56th Annual Redman's Curling Bonspiel was hosted by the Creighton Volunteer Fire Department on March 8 and 9 at the Creighton Sportex. The two-day event was attended by members of surrounding fire departments, which included Flin Flon, The Pas, Denare Beach, Cranberry Portage, Leaf Rapids, Lynn Lake, Hudbay, Thompson and ABC Fire Winnipeg as well as Creighton. Cranberry Portage, team #2, was awarded top prize at the banquet. Fourteen teams gathered for the banquet at the Creighton Community Centre. The 2014 Redman's bonspiel is slated to be hosted by Churchill, Manitoba.
