Former Flin Flon Bomber head coach Larry Wintoneak has been suspended for the remainder of the Superior International Junior Hockey League season for fighting on the ice with an opposing coach. The incident occurred during a bench-clearing brawl at the end of the game between Wintoneak's Dryden Ice Dogs and the Fort Frances Borderland Thunder, coached by Dave Allison, who was also suspended for the remainder of the season. The two teams will meet again for the first round of the playoffs.
