Former Bomber Simon Hofley has notched his first career NCAA win.
As the Bombers noted on their website, Hofley made 39 saves as his Canisius College Golden Griffins bested the Mercyhurst Lakers 4-3 on Nov. 20.
Hofley, 20, played 65 games for the Bombers from 2013 to 2015. He was slated to return to Flin Flon this season but instead chose Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.
As of Tuesday morning, Hofley had played eight games with Canisius this season.
