The Eddie’s Bombers continue their winning streak as they hit the ice in La Ronge for a double-header exhibition day at the Mel Hegland Arena and came home with two big wins.

The Eddie’s Bombers continue their winning streak as they hit the ice in La Ronge for a double-header exhibition day at the Mel Hegland Arena and came home with two big wins.
In the first game, the Ice Wolves got off to an early start with the lead, but Bomber Blake Alexander tied the game in the first period.
Even though the Bombers outshot the Ice Wolves, the La Ronge team held a 2-1 lead over the Flin Flon team at the end of the opening frame.
The remainder of the game saw the Bombers pick up their socks with seven more goals to come.
Alexander picked up a hat trick and two assists for the Bombers while Tristan Toffan earned two goals, Eli Plamondon and Colton Tetoff each picked up single markers, and Evan Madarash earned the game-winning goal for a final of 8-3.
In the second game, Tetoff opened the scoring with a goal in the first and second periods while teammate Odin Church picked up one goal and three helpers.
The final frame saw a shorthanded goal from Alexander, his second of the game, paired with markers from Riley Schwartz and Zach Dorion to earn a big 7-0 win.
Goalies Korey Benoit and Brayden Abbott stood strong between the pipes, as they shared the team’s shutout in the second game against the
Ice Wolves.
