The Eddie's Atom Bombers recently competed in the Munn Cup tournament in Thompson, where they won the Mr. Tee's B-side championship. They played four games in total, beating OCN 6-1, dropping a 3-1 decision to Thompson, tying The Pas 4-4 and finishing with an 8-0 win over Cross Lake. Aaron Morran picked up the shut out in the win. Flin Flon cleaned up in the skills competition, pitting Flin Flon's top five players against the top five players from the other teams. Tanner Suski (8-years-old) won the agility contest. Robbie Custer (9-years-old) was second overall in the shooting accuracy contest. Boyd Langan (9-years-old) was first in the speed race. Tavish Quinn (9-years-old) tied for first in the shootout, and Aaron Morran (9 years-old) tied for fourth in the goaltending competition, with goaltending advice from his dad. The performances of the five players made Flin Flon the top team in the skills competition.
