The soccer season is still freshly underway, but that didnâ??t stop the local Dynamite from taking a big win. The travel team of girls, ages 13 and 14, made their way to Saskatoon for the annual Harder Aurora Soccer Classic tournament this past weekend. The team dished out five big wins â?? including a 4-0 shutout in the Gold medal game against the Aurora Storm. The girls picked up first place in the tournament. This yearâ??s team is coached by Kathryn Church and Cathy Novosel. The Dynamite was one of seven local teams attending the Saskatoon tournament. The girlsâ?? team will continue to improve their skills on the field as the season progresses. The Dynamite will head back to Saskatoon next weekend to compete in the Grevers East Side Tournament. Watch The Reminder for further results of the Phantom Lake Soccer Club and itâ??s traveling teams.
