With their matching bathing suits and caps, the Flin Flon/Creighton Aqua Doves have been preparing for this one night since September. All of their hard work has gone into their up and coming Water Show. A night to show off their skills and talents, the 13 girls will be dazzling their peers, parents and coaches with their efforts. This coming Thursday, the Flin Flon Aqua Centre will be transformed into a stage for the synchronized swimmers. Before showing their parents and friends their routines, the girls performed in Winnipeg in a competition with the Winnipeg club as well as swimmers from Thunder Bay, Ontario. With girls in the pool ranging from seven years of age to 14, coach Jackie Mihalicz says there will be one duet as well as a team of four and two trios taking place in the Water Show. As the girls show off their talents and skills with the routine, announcements will be made about their work in Winnipeg from the previous weekend.
