The weather has put a hold on work on the new Flin Flon soccer field. The turf was meant to be given over to the soccer club by the end of last week, but Flin Flon recreation director Brenda Russell says it will take some time to dry out. "It (the field) needs to dry out and get a few days of no moisture," she says. Aside from the weather, Russell says the city still has some work to do on the field, as does the soccer club. "We've got to get it all leveled out and everything," she says, "but once the soccer club gets the field, they will have to sod it."
