A group of local dart players will aim for the bullseye of provincial glory this weekend. Ten members of the Northern Flytes Dart Club are headed to the Provincial Dart Championships in Winnipeg to vie for a chance to represent Manitoba nationally. Carrying the hopes of the region will be Perry Burton, Brian Humphreys, Gary Lyons, Darrell Nash, and Kevin Nash of Flin Flon along with Terry Plowman of The Pas. Representing the ladies are Jake Brown, Dot Nash, Tanya Nash, Lisa Penner, and Shannon Reimer of Flin Flon along with Irene Plowman of The Pas. The top eight players from both sides will travel to Nova Scotia in June to compete in a Canada-wide tournament organized by the National Darts Federation of Canada.10/3/06
