Two Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League players have earned scholarships, one for the Fall of 2009 and the other for 2010. Flin Flon 1989 defenseman Michael Young (Calgary AB) is headed to Nebraska-Omaha in the Fall of 2010. Young had 20 goals and 29 assists in 42 games with the Bombers in the regular season, his second with Flin Flon. He's expected to return to Flin Flon and play out his 20-year-old season in September. Meanwhile, 1988 Weyburn forward Torrey Lindsay (Grosse Isle MB) has agreed to join teammate Preston Shupe at Canisius. Shupe committed to Canisius earlier this season.
