During a luncheon at The Prospector Inn Monday, a number of graduating students from Creighton Community School were honoured for their efforts throughout their athletic careers. Teachers along with teary-eyed principal Guy Row watched as the students accepted their awards. The awards given out were: Wrestling Ð Most Improved Award Ð Vern Riehl Sr. B Girls Volleyball MVP Ð Shannon Wallaker Sr. Boys Volleyball Award Most Dedicated Ð Mike Sutherland Sr. Girls Volleyball Most Improved Ð Jillian Storey Most Dedicated Ð Brooke Knutson MVP Ð Bailey Streitle Extracurricular Medals Silver Ð Tanner Buettner Gold Ð Cory Dupre and Meghan Bourgeois Platinum Ð Shannon Wallaker, Jillian Storey, Shanine Slugoski, Rebecca MacDonald, Meagan Abele Referee of The Year Ð Meagan Abele Sr. Girls Basketball Most Improved Ð Casie Barron MVP Ð Meagan Abele As well as athletic awards, students were called upon for their academics as well.
