Three Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League teams have cracked the first Canadian Junior 'A' Hockey League's SP Apparel Rankings for the week ending October 3rd. The OPJHL's Georgetown Raiders lead the way with eight wins and one overtime loss in their first nine games. As far as the SJHL is concerned, the Notre Dame Hounds are ranked second based on their current six game winning streak. The Yorkton Terriers come in at number six as they begin the week on a seven game unbeaten run. They are the only SJHL team that has yet to suffer a defeat. The Kindersley Klippers, finalists in the Royal Bank Cup last year, are ranked twelvth. They've lost just once in eight games, going 6-1-and-1. The following are the SP Apparel rankings for the week ending Oct. 3: 1. Georgetown Raiders (OPJHL) - 8 wins, 1 overtime loss in 9 games 2. Notre Dame Hounds (SJHL) - 6 straight wins 3. Yarmouth Motormart Mariners (MarJHL) - 6-1-1 11. St. Michael's Buzzers (OPJHL) - 9-1-0 12. Kindersley Klippers (SJHL) - 6-1-1 13. Pembroke Lumber Kings (CJHL) - 4-1-2 14. Portage Terriers (ManJHL) - 4 consecutive wins 15.
