For a second year, the Manitoba Sailing Association Ð in collaboration with the Precambrian Sailing Club Ð will be bringing its Mobile Sailing School to our area to instruct aspiring young sailors. The School is open to Flin Flon, Creighton and Denare Beach residents. The School will be based at the main beach at Denare Beach. MSA will bring in 10 kid-friendly 'Vanguard Pram' sailboats, and two instructors. The maximum number of students will be 20 Ð though additional young sailors can be accommodated if they are able to bring along their own Pram-type boats. On the final day of the School, students will compete in the 'Norman Regional Championships'. It is hoped that Sailing School students from other northern communities (York Landing and Sherridon), will participate in this prestigious event!
