Congratulations to Sarah Allen, the Chicken Chef Athlete of the Week. Sarah is a Grade 9 student at Hapnot Collegiate. This winter, she played on the Norman Regional hockey team, and recently participated in the Bantam Challenge in Winnipeg. She was the assistant captain with the team. This was their first tournament together, and although they didn't win a lot of games, Sarah played some of her best hockey at the event. Sarah regularly played with the Midget girls this year, and won a silver medal at Provincials in The Pas in early March. This was Sarah's fifth year in hockey. She has been playing competitively with the regional teams for the last three years. This weekend, she will be trying out for an elite Bantam 'AAA' team in Saskatoon, after getting an invitation from one of the team's coaches. Sarah says that the experience she gains from playing with older girls helps her to be a better player. After high school, she would like to continue playing hockey at the university level. Sara receives her choice of a 9" pizza or two piece chicken dinner from Chicken Chef.
