Flin Flon Bombers 1988 born forward Tommy Castonguay (Rimouski PQ) has committed to Sacred Heart for this upcoming Fall. Castonguay led the Bombers in scoring with 27 goals and 44 assists in 54 games. Last year, he picked up six goals and 16 assists during an injury plagued season that limited him to 28 games. As a rookie, Castonguay scored seven goals and nine assists in 53 games. Castonguay becomes the fourth SJHLer this year to commit to Sacred Heart. He joins Flin Flon teammate Reid MacLeod, Melfort's Kyle Fraser, and Notre Dame defenseman Mitchell Stretch as Freshmen Pioneers in September. Meanwhile, Nipawin Hawks forwards Torrie Dyck and Dean Prpick have agreed to attend Augustana (Camrose AB) in the Fall. The Vikings are coached by former SJHL bench boss Blaine Gusdal and it is expected the Vikings will make a major announcement on their SJHL recruitment drive in the coming weeks. 2009-10 American University/College Reid MacLeod (Flin Flon) Sacred Heart Michael Young (Flin Flon) Nebraska-Omaha '10-'11 Jean-Sebastien Bergeron (Flin Flon) Union Tommy Castonguay (Flin Flon) Sacred Heart Brady Wacker (Humboldt) Bemidji State Matthew Kirzinger (Humboldt) Ferris State Dustin Stevenson (La Ronge) St. Lawrence Tommy Brown (Melfort) Michigan Tech Kyle Fraser (Melfort) Sacred Heart Rylan Schwartz (Notre Dame) Colorado College Jaden Schwartz (Notre Dame) Colorado College '10-'11 John Esposito (Notre Dame) Cornell Mitchell Stretch (Notre Dame) Sacred Heart Preston Shupe (Weyburn) Canisius Torrey Lindsay (Weyburn) Canisius Greg Coburn (Yorkton) Union
