Kelly Carrington Staff Writer Canada is competing hard at the 2012 Summer Games in London, but the results aren't adding up. As of Monday afternoon, Canada had only secured one medal in the competition, which started Friday. Synchronized diving partners Jennifer Abel and Emilie Heymans earned a Bronze medal in their competition on Sunday. Also as of Monday, China led the way in medals with 16 _ nine Gold, five Silver and two Bronze. Canada was tied with nine other countries for last place in medaling. The U.S. was in second place, with 17 medals, as they held five Gold, seven Silver, and five Bronze. Our neighbours to the south earned 12 medals in the swimming events alone. The 2012 London Games continue until August 10. Canada's last scheduled event is Diving: Men's 10m Platform Preliminary.
