Burkees Bedlam were the big winners over the weekend as they earned the A-side victory over Bandwagon to take their league's trophy. Bandwagon defeated the Party Piranhas on the B-side final to advance to the A-side final in the double elimination tournament. The weekend saw eight teams competing over the course of three days. Some teams played as many as five consecutive games on Saturday. The weekend tournament was for fun _ no money on the line and no entrance fee _ and helped cap off another Flin Flon Creighton Slo Pitch season. During the regular season, 16 teams competed in weekday games as well as three other tournaments. Teams from The Pas and Swan River also traveled to Flin Flon this summer for the Cash Tournaments. The slo pitch season is over for another year, but expects to pick up in May 2014.
