Complied by Kelly Carrington Flin Flon goaltender Devin Buffalo was named as the SJHL Rookie of the Month for December. Buffalo also joined fellow teammate Dillan McCombie in receiving an Honourable mention. Buffalo's came from the Goaltender of the Month list while McCombie was under the Player of the Month list. SJHL Player of the Month Jordon Hoffman, Weyburn Red Wings 1991 F Jordon Hoffman (Major SK) was dealt by the Kindersley Klippers to the Weyburn Red Wings just prior to December and he took off like a shot with his new team, scoring five goals and 11 assists in eight games played. It upped his season totals to 36 games, 11 goals and 24 assists. Honorable Mention: Dillan McCombie, Flin Flon; Robbie Ciolfi, Humboldt; Coltyn Sanderson, Weyburn; Jesse Ross, Weyburn; Dylan Smith, Estevan. SJHL Defenseman of the Month Josh Roach, Humboldt Broncos 1992 D Josh Roach (Saskatoon SK) fired five goals and three assists in nine games played during the month of December, a month the Broncos went undefeated in. Roach upped his season totals to nine goals and 12 assists in 33 games and continues to gain confidence with each passing game. Honorable Mention: Carson Grolla, Notre Dame; Woody Klassen, Battlefords; Jeff Datoff, Nipawin; Kelly Leismeister, Yorkton. SJHL Rookie of the Month Devin Buffalo, Flin Flon Bombers 1993 G Devin Buffalo (Wetaskiwin AB) went 4-0-0-and-1 in the month of December, posting a 2.20-GAA and a .941-SPCT. His overall numbers are 12-8-and-3, 3.14-GAA and .912-SPCT. Honorable Mention: Taylor Reich, Estevan; Taran Kozun, Nipawin; Jack Kennelly, Weyburn; Brandon Millin, Notre Dame. SJHL Goaltender of the Month Alex Rajotte, La Ronge Ice Wolves 1991 G Alex Rajotte (Blaneville PQ) went 3-0-0-and-2 in the month of December, posting a sparkling 1.35-GAA and a .967-SPCT. For the season, Rajotte is 14-9-and-3 with 3-shutouts. His GAA is down to 2.69 and his SPCT jumps to .924. Honorable Mention: Devin Buffalo, Flin Flon; Taran Kozun, Nipawin; Matt Hrynkiw, Humboldt; Mitch Kilgore, Weyburn.
