Kelly Carrington Staff Writer Flin Flon Bomber fans have watched over the past two seasons as goaltender Devin Buffalo has guarded the mesh. He was named the SJHL's Rookie of the Year in 2011-12, along with Brandon Millin of Notre Dame, and continued to make a name for himself this year. The 19-year-old was named the top goaltender in the SJHL three weeks in a row and has earned himself three shutouts this season. Buffalo has enjoyed support from the fans at the Whitney Forum and has now had word of his talent spread to New Hampshire. The Wetaskiwin, Alberta, native has committed to NCAA's Dartmouth College for the 2014-15 season. Bomber fans will see the goaltender between the pipes once again next season for his final year of eligibility in the SJHL. 'Excited' 'We are very excited for Devin,' Bombers head coach and GM Mike Reagan was quoted as saying on the team's website. 'This couldn't happen to a better guy, not only is he a great goaltender, but he's a great guy off the ice.' Dartmouth College is located in Hanover, New Hampshire. It is a member school in the prestigious Ivy League. Its hockey team, the Big Green, plays out of the ECAC. Currently, Buffalo ranks second in the SJHL with a GAA of 2.40. He has a record of 16-10-0-0. He has stopped 825 shots with only 63 pucks getting past him with 17 games left in the season.
