After defeating the Flin Flon Bombers in the Itech Conference Finals, the Humboldt Broncos are moving up to the Credit Union Finals to face off against the Melville Millionaires, who beat the Weyburn Red Wings in the Sherwood Conference Finals. The Broncos took the win last year as well as advancing to the ANAVAT Cup and the RBC Cup to become the top Jr team in Canada. With two RBC wins under their belts, the Broncos are the favoured team to win the series. In the previous series, the Broncos swept the Bombers 4-0 with games ending on Friday while Melville took the series 4-2 over the Red Wings. The Broncos have home ice advantage to the Millionaires as Humboldt hosts game one on Friday. Game two is set to take place on Tuesday in Melville before the teams get back to Humboldt on Friday with game three. Game four is set for Melville on Sunday, April 5. Depending on the score of the series, the Broncos will host Melville in game five on Tuesday, April 7 before heading back to Melville on Friday, April 10. And if it is still needed, the teams will face off one last time in the series as Humboldt is set to host the Millionaires in game seven on Sunday, April 12.
