The Broncos lead the best-of-seven series 3-2 with Game 6 scheduled for tonight in Weyburn. Humboldt won two games back-to-back on both home ice and away. Tuesday night's 4-2 win leaves the Broncos with a chance to steal the series tonight. If the Broncos win, they earn the Canalta Cup, bragging rights to the SJHL, and move on to the Anavet Cup to compete against the winner of the MJHL. If the Red Wings win tonight, the teams will play Sunday for the tie-breaker. MJHL The Portage Terriers defeated the Winnipeg Saints in the MJHL Turnbull Cup in Game 5. MJHL fans are hoping for a Bronco win tonight. 'The good news for MJHL fans is if Humboldt can win, the MJHL champion has an automatic berth to the RBC Cup final,' read a news article on the MJHL website.
