Special Olympics bowling needs a few helping hands. These athletes need coaches to help them get strikes and people willing to count them. "Workers have been score keeping," said Heather Todoschuk, Special Oympics Norman Region, Regional coordinator. "As Special Olympics, we should have volunteers and there should be people monitoring the athletes." This is a big problem that can be solved if about five people are willing to give an hour and a half of their time. If more people commit, that will create a rotation. "We need coaches to step up," said Todoschuk. "Special Olympics would help get them certified. It would be great if someone could come on board." Anyone interested should contact Heather at 681-7541. The bowling season goes from September until May.
