Third jerseys in hockey have become popular among fans and, in due time, Bombers fans will have their own. "The jersey will represent the toughness of Flin Flon and the North," says Bombers marketing manager Lee Deary, who is seeking sponsors. "Fans and sponsors will be happy with it." The sweater will still have some tradition but includes elements of Flin Flon with an aggressive stance. "I think it's gonna be exciting, and third jerseys have become very popular in the NHL and all levels," explained Deary. Deary came up with the design ideas and the sweater was made by SP Apparel, which makes sweaters for most junior and minor pro teams. Deary believes it will be something special for fans. The marketing manager hopes the jersey will be ready for unveiling on November 25 when the team plays host to the Estevan Bruins. The jersey will be worn for five home and away games. "Keep an eye on the web site," Deary says to fans, "parts of the jersey might be on like a puzzle."
