Aspiring Bombers will spend their weekend at the team’s main training camp in hopes of landing a roster spot this fall.

Sixty players will be welcomed to the Whitney Forum as camp gets underway today.

Players will compete in a double round-robin weekend involving three teams. The annual Black and White game will be held Sunday afternoon.

Spectators
encouraged

The doors to the Whitney Forum are open all weekend and head coach and GM Mike Reagan encourages spectators to come out.

“I think it’s good when the players see people in the stands watching,” he said. “Every player wants to play somewhere that there is expectation and they are the show in town. They want to play in front of people.”

Reagan says along with the long-standing history and reputation of the Whitney Forum, the fans that come along with it are “great.”

“I think we have a reputation of having great fans,” he said.
