When you're hot, you're hot - and boy, the Bombers seem hot. The team kicked off a three game road trip with a big 5-2 win over Humboldt Thursday night.

While Humboldt drew first blood courtesy of Cody Hough, the Bombers took over in period two. Cole Rafuse, Easton Haygarth and Caleb Franklin each found the twine behind Bronco goalie Brendan Forman, giving Flin Flon a lead they'd never give up.

Donavan Houle-Villeneuve got in on the action in the third, and while Karter McNarland stopped the onslaught for a moment in the third, Alec Malo added a late empty netter to seal it.

Matt Sankner made 31 saves in a Bomber win, while Forman made 34 stops in a losing cause.

The Bombers will continue their road trip Friday and Saturday with a pair of games against the Kindersley Klippers.
