Kelly Carrington Staff Writer The Flin Flon Bombers were back on the ice Wed-nesday night as they hosted the Swedish Inter-national Under 17 hockey team in an exhibition game. The game got underway at the Whitney Forum with much speculation surrounding the event. The game took place after press time for The Reminder, but be sure to watch Monday's paper for further coverage. Following the Sweden game, the Bombers set to host a skills competition the next day. The Bombers joined forces with roughly 40 members of the Flin Flon Minor Hockey Association in a fun challenge. The players were put to the test in categories like hardest shot and fastest skater. Regular Season The Bombers are back from the SJHL Christmas break and looking to improve their season. Leaving for the break, the Bombers went through a three-game losing streak on the road. The Bombers now look to earn a win over the La Ronge Ice Wolves on Sunday as they kickoff the 2011 part of the season. From there, the Bombers will host the Humboldt Broncos in a game on Wednesday.
