The Flin Flon Bombers completed a pair of trades on Monday with Manitoba Junior Hockey League clubs. The Bombers dealt 1987 F Ben McNally to the Dauphin Kings for 1989 F/D Kory Gursky and future considerations. McNally had 38 points in 34 games for the Kings last season, but his rights were dealt to Flin Flon after the end of last season as futures in the Kyle Lundale trade made in January. Gursky played for the Saskatoon Blazers last season and dressed for both games for the Kings over the weekend. Meanwhile, the Bombers also moved 1988 D Cody Danychuk to the Waywayseecappo Wolverines for future considerations. Danychuk played for both Flin Flon and La Ronge last season. The trades came less than two weeks after the Bombers signed Western Hockey League veteran David Linsley. The 1987 born native of Outlook, SK, has played 163 games at the major junior level, scoring 10 goals and 14 assists during stints with the Seattle Thunderbirds and Spokane Chiefs. Linsley is said to be close friends of current Bomber forward Dennis Kubat. Linsley had two goals and one assist for Flin Flon during their pre-season win over La Ronge. Linsley is the first Western Hockey League 20-year-old to play in Flin Flon since Todd Hornung in 2000.
