Jonathon Naylor Editor Following another early playoff exit, the Flin Flon Bombers have pulled the trigger on a pair of trades. Flin Flon has moved blueliner Stefan Virtanen to the AJHL's Drumheller Dragons in exchange for forwards Brody Robinson and Logan Sceviour, as well as future considerations. GM Mike Reagan has also dealt Andrew Allan to the MJHL's Winkler Flyers in for future considerations. The 1993-born Robinson had three goals, five assists and 94 penalty minutes in 52 games with the Dragons last season. The crash-and-bang forward was named the team's top rookie and promises to bring more grit and toughness to the Flin Flon lineup. On radar Originally a seventh-round pick of the WHL's Prince Albert Raiders, the 6 ft. 1 in., 190-lb. product of Red Deer, Alta., has been on the Bombers' radar since last season. Sceviour brings plenty of experience along with something of a scoring touch, as he had 10 goals and 14 assists, not to mention 58 penalty minutes, in 60 games last season. The 1992-born forward has played junior hockey since he was 16, racking up 91 points in 208 games. Standing 6 ft. and weighing 180 lbs., Sceviour, who also hails from Red Deer, has played his entire junior career in the AJHL. Virtanen leaves Flin Flon after two seasons in which he had five goals, six assists and 88 penalty minutes in 66 games. He missed most of last season after undergoing off-season shoulder surgery. For his part, the 1992-born Allan accumulated two goals and four assists to go along with 37 PM in 32 games for the Bombers last season. Allan had been acquired from the MJHL's Portage Terriers for Gabe Minville. Meanwhile, former Bomber Jay Young will suit up for the SAIT Trojans next season. Young will be a part of the Trojans program, which plays in the ACAC, after three seasons with Flin Flon in which he complied 60 points in 136 games. He split his time between forward and defense. He joins former Bomber Corey Tyrell on the Trojans roster.
