The Notre Dame Hounds came to Flin Flon with a three-game winning streak. There will not be four.

Rylan Tkachuk and Rylee Zimmer each scored twice in a 6-4 Bomber win Saturday. Jason Lavallee and Connor Beebe each tallied one goal and Bomber captain Braden Lacoursiere added two assists.

While few penalties were called, both teams played physical hockey. Bomber Ben Lanfermann dropped the gloves with Hound Jacob Arsenault in the third period, receiving both a loud cheer from the Whitney Forum faithful and an early trip to the showers.

Hounds goalie Jordan Greenfield-Flemon was pulled early in the 2nd period after giving up 4 goals on 21 shots. Teammate Riley Higdon fared better, making 30 saves on 32 shots. Brendon Newton earned the win after a 25 save performance.

The Bombers are now tied with Nipawin once again for first place in the Sherwood Division. The Bombers will play their next game against the Hawks Friday, Nov. 18 at Nipawin's Centennial Arena, with sole possession of the division lead at stake.
