Bombers mid pack in SJHL rankings

The Flin Flon Bombers have found themselves in the middle of the SJHL pack. The Bombers sit with 14 points after 14 games, seventh overall in the league.

The Maroon and White were third in their conference as the La Ronge Ice Wolves continued to lead the Sherwood Division, as of yesterday morning.
The Melville Millionaires led the Viterra Division, and the SJHL, with 23 points.
With a record of 10-3-1-2 in 16 games, the Millionaires are nine points ahead of the Bombers.
The Yorkton Terriers follow close behind as they sit second in the same conference as the Millionaires and second in the league with 21 points.
The Battlefords North Stars sit at the bottom of the league rankings with eight points and a record of 4-12-0-0 in 16 games.
The Notre Dame Hounds have picked up one more point than the Stars with a 4-6-0-1 record in 11 games.
In the Sherwood Division, where the Bombers sit in third, the Nipawin Hawks occupy the fourth spot with 12 points.
Nipawin’s 5-7-0-2 record in 14 games leaves them with a chance to tie or take over the Bombers’ spot with a win.
Flin Flon won’t be back on the ice until next Friday, giving the Hawks a chance to take over third place.
The Hawks take on the Ice Wolves tonight and the Terriers tomorrow night.
The Hawks will play one more game before the Bombers are back on the ice as they head to Humboldt on Wednesday.
The Hawks have three opportunities to push the Bombers down to fourth place.
