Kelly Carrington Staff Writer The Flin Flon Bombers open the doors to the Whitney Forum this weekend for their annual main camp. Taking place over the course of the weekend, the camp will feature likely Bombers as well as those returning for their chance at a roster spot. The camp will have the hopeful players testing their limits and proving their abilities. By the end of the camp, the organization will have a good idea of what the 2012-13 team will look like for the home opener. The main camp will feature both on- and off-ice drills as well as the annual Black and White game. Be sure to check the Bomber website for schedules, times and updates of the camp. Exhibition season for the Bombers is scheduled to open on Sept. 3 as the local rookies take on the Nipawin Hawk rookies on the road. The Maroon and White home opener is set for Sept. 22 against the Melfort Mustangs.
