The Flin Flon Bomber bench will be shaping up in just a matter of weeks. The organization will hold their main camp at the end of the month as hopeful players dress for their chance to make the roster. Returning and fresh faces will grace the ice this year as the coaching staff examine their potential team. Players will compete hard, show their true colours and work toward filling the limited positions available for the 2013-14 season. Once cuts have been made, the team will head into the exhibition season. The Bombers will face the Nipawin Hawks and La Ronge Ice Wolves as well as the MJHL's Swan Valley Stampeders and the OCN Blizzard in preseason action. The Bombers will face off in their first exhibition game of the season as they travel to Nipawin on Sept. 2. The following night, the Maroon and White will welcome Swan River before heading to OCN on Sept. 6. The Whitney Forum will play host to the next match up as the Hawks will travel for their second game against the Bombers. The next night, Sept. 11, the Bombers will travel to take on the Stampeders before welcoming the La Ronge Ice Wolves. Sept. 13 will mark three in a row for the Bombers as they welcome the OCN Blizzard to the Whitney Forum for their final game of the preseason. Like years past, the Bombers and Melfort Mustangs will start the regular season together. The Maroon and White will travel to Melfort on Sept. 20 before welcoming the rivals the following night. Last season, the Bombers started a strong winning streak with two consecutive wins against the Mustangs. What will the 2013-14 season bring?
