Friday night in Kindersley was kind to the Flin Flon Bombers, who earned a 5-3 win over the hometown Klippers.
Rylee Zimmer pumped home two goals for the Bombers, who now move to 24-10-2-2 on the season. Brandon Lesko added a goal and two helpers, while Kristian St. Onge and Michigan Tech commit Greyson Reitmeier also lit the lamp for Flin Flon.
Holden Daley, Jordan Funk and Cody Hodgson added goals for the Klippers.
Bomber goalie Zac Robidoux added another big win to his impressive record. The victory over the Klippers gives Robidoux 12 wins on the season.
The win increases a commanding division lead for the Bombers. With 52 points this season, Flin Flon sits nine points ahead of second-place Nipawin for top spot in the Sherwood Division.
The Bombers and Klippers meet again for round two Saturday night in Kindersley.
