Kelly Carrington Staff Writer The Flin Flon Bombers will take on the 17 and under Sweden team tonight in the Whitney Forum. As a result of not making it to the world tournament, Swedish National Under 17 team decided to face-off against a few Canadian teams this season. Flin Flon is just one of four teams in the SJHL to get the opportunity to host the team. After the Whitney Forum, the traveling team will head to La Ronge, Humboldt and then the Battlefords. The Bombers will lace up against the Swedes tonight as an exhibition game. In a previous interview, Bomber head coach and GM Mike Reagan said he hoped the stands had quite a few spectators. Having an international team in Flin Flon, especially of this caliber, doesn't happen every day. The Bombers hope to see lots of fans out tonight at the Whitney Forum to cheer them off. Coming off the Christmas break, the game will be interesting. Tomorrow night, the Bombers will be put to the test as they are teaming up with roughly 40 players from the Flin Flon Minor Hockey Association in a skills competition. The players will be doing events like hardest shot and a breakaway challenge.
