Main Camp has always been an exciting time at the Whitney Forum and the Flin Flon Bombers expect nothing less this weekend. The athletes hit the ice today after their registration. Following the three practices to be held, three games will be played. The hopeful players will player four-on-four for an 1:15 tonight. Tomorrow, the teams get underway with three more games Ð this time five-on-five for an hour. Main Camp will then host a goalie session in the afternoon before another set of three games gets underway. The annual Black and White game is set for Sunday afternoon at the Whitney Forum. But before the game gets underway, the Bombers will have two pre game skates in the morning for half an hour. All 12 teams in the SJHL have their Main Camps this weekend as well. Following Main Camp, the Bombers prepare for their preseason games. First on the docket, the Bombers host Swan River on Monday. On Wednesday, both the Bombers and the OCN Blizzard travel to Thompson, where the Bombers will host the Blizzard. Next Friday, the Bombers are in Nipawin. The following night, the Hawks travel back to Flin Flon. The Bombers end out their preseason with one final game against the OCN Blizzard on Monday, September 13.
