The Flin Flon Bombers dropped one game below .500 after Thursday's 2-0 loss to the Estevan Bruins. The Bombers continued to find themselves in third place in the Sherwood Division head into Friday's game against the Notre Dame Hounds. Flin Flon sat tied with the Nipawin Hawks with 10 points _ six points behind the conference-leading La Ronge Ice Wolves. The Bombers hosted the Hounds in their second home game of the week as they looked for a win. The Hounds were tied for third place with the Battlefords North Stars in the Kramer Division with eight points. The Kindersley Klippers remained on top of the SJHL with 17 points as the Ice Wolves, Yorkton Terriers and Melville Millionaires were hot on their tails with 16 points each. The Hounds, North Stars, and Weyburn Red Wings continued to be the cellar dwellers of the league with eight points each.
